Happy Tuesday, y’all! So, I don’t own a lot of pink, but lighter pinks, blush and rose golds are all colors that I’m trying to incorporate more into my wardrobe. I bought this dress last fall to wear to Key to the Cure (the last few years I’d worn grey or black, so this time I thought maybe I’d give the ‘suggested’ pink dress code a try) and I’ve actually worn it a few times since, which is pretty crazy for me to wear a color like this over and over. It’s the ‘perfect pink’ — it can be worn any time of year, depending on how you style it and that’s why it’s one of my favorites.
For spring/summer, I think it looks best paired with a fun pair of wedges or a dressy sandal and would be perfect for a baby shower, bridal shower or cocktail party. You can definitely dress it down if you prefer to wear it more casually, but the design and fabric has more of an ‘event’ feel to it, in my opinion 🙂 For this look, I paired it with my favorite wedges and my go-to small bag. I’m not a big fan of small bags… I tend to carry a million things with me at all times, but a large purse isn’t always appropriate. This Rebecca Minkoff can hold quite a few things and is dressy enough for those special occasions where you don’t want to be carrying around a giant bag 🙂
This dress is Topshop — I ordered it last summer from Nordstrom, so it’s no longer available, but they have a few almost identical options that I’ve linked! Everything else is the same, available and ready to shop 🙂
