I tried avoiding the embroidered trend… but I caved. And I’m so glad I did, because this jacket is everything.
I’m pretty boring in my everyday attire — I own more black, grey, cream and denim than I do anything else, but I always try to buy different colors, styles and trends to appear to make my wardrobe more exciting. But if we’re being honest, those things typically end up never worn again and then I regret buying them because those pieces just hang in my closet, waiting get thrown in a pile of things I’ll sell or donate. Lately, I’ve tried to just stick to buying the neutrals I always tend to wear and challenge myself to style them more creatively. This striped dress is a new staple of mine and adding this jacket, just made it so much cooler — plus it’s denim, so it’s technically a neutral in my book 🙂
What are your thoughts on embroidered pieces? I just ordered a pair of applique slides… so I might be hooked 🙂
